Video for MEC hydraulic cylinder rebuild?

Looked around and didn't find anything. I'm about to attempt a rebuild on one and am thinking it would be nice to watch a video of someone doing this.

It's pretty straight forward. Not a complicated cylinder. Be careful taking it apart, there is a spring in it under load.
Are you sure your cylinder is rebuildable? The first generation cylinders were not as the end caps were crimped on.

The ideal situation is to get the cylinder to come apart from the rod end. Once the rod end cap is 1 turn loose push the rod against a solid surface and get the rod to retract about 3" or so. While holding it there carefully unscrew the rod cap all the way. Now cover your work with an old towel (will control spring) and gently and slowly allow the spring to push the rod out holding one hand on top of towel.

Take off the brass fitting its just pipe thread. The rest will come out. Where was yours leaking? If you don't have to do not remove the plastic piston on the bottom of the rod. If you do make sure it gets in the same alignment as before. Mine would not fully return to the top because of that I think.
