Sera, you are incorrect. Gun champs receive $1,000, HOA - $1500, Winchester 650 $1000. Skeet pays nowhere near what sporting does for a couple reasons: Skeet has 1/4 of the participants than the Nationals, Sporting entry fees are approx. $125.00 per hundred whereas skeet is closer to $70 and finally there are no guaranteed class purses at the Nationals unlike the World Skeet shoot that pays down 10 places or so in each class.

Not going to make a living shooting skeet. I shoot just about 10,000 rounds per year which adds up to "about" $4800 - roughly. I hope the pros are getting their ammo for free. The "winnings" are chickenfeed.

Type in NSSA and you should go to there website.Either there or you can go to the Mississippi skeet shooter association website and get the results there, not sure if they list payouts because I’ve never looked.
