I see it as a most excellent choice for the intended purpose, the Sub-Ga side matches at major tournament. I have 2 BSS I have used, one with the fixed chokes opened up to LtMod-ish. I also bought the CZ Target, also specifically intended for the sub-ga side matches. Although fewer and fewer tournaments are offering the pump/SxS events, if this new entry feels right, I think I can find space in a safe.

I had some idea we would be seeing something like this after Jonny Carter showed us about the same gun in a recent video (TGS Outdoors, "The world's most affordable custom guns"). He referred to it as the "ugly duckling," made on custom order by a small shop in Italy, RFM, and sold here by Upland Gun Company. Upland isn't talking about who makes the receivers, barrels or forend iron (unfounded rumor has it that it's Rizzini), and RFM does the rest. They are offering the gun with 30 or 32 inch barrels. I've got one coming with 30's. More after I see it in a few months.

I like it. I’m about function over form. And for tournament sxs shoots that looks like about as good as it gets. I have a Dickinson Plantation High rib that I compete with currently. It’s an awesome little gun but I might find it a new home and give one of these a shot.

The Autumn Elite looks like a shinier version of the Orvis Heritage offered not too long ago...the Orvis branded gun looked nicer, imho.

So the Fabarm 'hyperbolic' section in the choke tubes, which eliminates the flat parallel of older chokes, has been a proven winner, eh?
That seems a bit mimicing of the Beretta 'reverse' marketing of many years ago.

OK an Aussie perspective of the infinite SxS.

Down here in Australia SxS (or even sub gauge) side events aren't a thing at sporting clays events unfortunately so not really a market down here?

If they do get here I reckon I'd be a little keen to try one out, in competition you'd have to shoot it against all the UO's but hey it'd be fun if it can hold it's own on occasion :ROFLMAO:

My 32" 4 mm step barrels DC12 balances on right the hinge pin, but I did make two modifications that might have improved the balance. Additional of thin wall Briley chokes (typically shoot LM/LM); and replacement of the light weight Perazzi glued on recoil pad with a screwed in Kickeez pad. The chokes probably took out about a 1/2 ounce at the barrel end and the recoil pad added maybe about 1/2- 1 ounce at the butt end.
The DC12 is not a light gun at about 9 pounds, but handles recoil with one ounce 1225-1250 fps competition ammo very well and much better than my previous Win 21 trap with 30" ventilated rib barrels did.
When I shoot the DC12 and am really focused on the targets, as I should be, it feels very similar to my Perazzi HT or MX 2000S 31.5" guns.
If the Fabarms swings well and can handle the recoil also, may be something to consider for high volume competition shooting at a lower price point than the Perazzi.
